Veteran members please also feel free to introduce yourself for the benefit of newcomers if you wish.
Silawen
Wow, first one to write up an introduction on the new shiny forum. I feel so special! XD

Well, my name is Christy, though on the internet people call me Sila. It's a nickname I acquired ages ago, when I started using the name 'Silawen' (meaning Shining Maiden in Tolkien's elvish.) in the Lord of the Rings fandom. It's been my name ever since.

I got into wrestling around 2000/2001, but after a few months it was cancelled here and I forgot all about it. In 2005 I decided to check what had happened to all those wrestlers I loved, and was gradually pulled back in again. Now I download everything I want to see, and have been rather obsessed with it. : P

I'm an ECW girl through and through. These days I watch WWE and TNA. (Though you can often find me watching old ECW stuff to improve my mood.) I wish I could watch other things as well, but it's hard enough keeping up with all the weekly downloads I have now, so I'm pretty scattered when it comes to ROH, Indies, and the like.

Favourite wrestlers include - but isn't limited to - Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Rhino, and others. I've been known to watch pretty much anything, and am a pretty positive person. Basically that means I dislike very few wrestlers. Heck, I don't even mind Cena that much. Overall I'm happy enough I can actually watch wrestling, as opposed to those in my country that don't get to download things.

I'm an avid writer - mostly of slash, fair warning - and really enjoy writing and reading in the wrestling fandom. Most of my wrestling fans have the same interests when it comes to that, which is why I figured I should join a forum. Get out of that circle of similar minded people.

That's me, basically. If there are any questions...I'm more than happy to answer. As you can see I'm a bit of a chatterbox. XD

FDQ
Well, most of you already know me since I've been here from 'almost' the beginning XD

I'm FDQ *waves* Originally I joined as "Frankenstein Drag Queen" but it was quickly shortened *LOL* I wonder why tongue.gif

I'm a big TNA fan and has been since 2003. Basically when my Roadie joined them XD I don't watch WWE anymore though as I started boycotting when Billy Gunn got fired. Haven't watched since. Other fave wrestlers besides Roadie and Billy: James Storm, Sting, Bret Hart, Undertaker, Kane, Abyss and a lot more.

I'm a slash fan aswell, however, I'm trying to keep myself away from any Road Dogg/Billy Gunn stuff... I have a pretty darn good reason XXD

I'm also a rather big fan of anime suddenly. My favorite cartoon for over 13 years, I recently discovered it was an anime XXD Call me slow *LOL* Anime's I like: Ginga Nagareboshi Gin and Densetsu Weed (they're about doggies!), Naruto, Ouran High School Host Club, Gravitation and all Yaoi, heh.

I also like Southpark, Spongebob, Family Guy and cartoon network!

In 2003 I started my own little Road Dogg fansite with about 50 pictures of him. It slowly grew and grew and in March 2004 I finally bought a domain for it. Today I store over 7900 images of Roadie on the site and it's grown to the biggest and best Roadie fansite on the net today. Kinda creepy.

I'm also in the progress of making Billy Gunn's new official website. smile.gif Me so lucky! I also have 2 other websites. One about my current favorite band, Tokio Hotel and one about my fave animes, Ginga.

I suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder, which is a mental condition that makes you scared of what other people think about you and makes you scared of public humiliation. Next month, I'm scheduled to start treatment. I hope to get healthy, however I've had the disorder for about 10 years, so it'll take a while to get rid of again sad.gif

And I'm currently in the progress of talking my parents into letting me have a dog happy.gif A Chinese Crested, 'cause they're beautiful! *points at avatar*

Ooh, and just for the record and the bragging, Road Dogg has given me a kiss XXXD Ok, I'm done...
Guenhwyvar
I s'pose I should add something, being another veteran. (I feel old all of a sudden... dry.gif )

This is Guen, and I've been a wrestling fan since I was ooh, about six. I used to watch World of Sport on Saturdays on ITV - yes, that is going back a long way. After it was cancelled I was wrestling-less until we got Sky in '91, and started watching then-WWF. Anyone who knows me knows I'm still a huge Rockers/Marty Jannetty fan even today. tongue.gif And I may have been involved in the business myself at one point. Many years ago. wink.gif

These days you can find me watching Londrick, Punk (which is slashlover's fault entirely), Edge, RVD, the Hardys, HBK, and wondering when Jericho will come back.

Um, what else... I'm a big Eddie Izzard fan, I have four tattoos (so far), I love to draw, paint and do all sorts of creative stuff - currently finishing off two costumes for Amecon next week, hee. Hoping to start a college course in September to do Art & Design.

Oh, and I'm a video game geek, I love RPGs. I play Guild Wars a lot, but not always particularly well. biggrin.gif
fry
I was a member of the old board so most people will know what i am like but for the new members here is a bit about little old me.

I have been a wrestling fan since about age 6 when my dad took me to a WWF live event in Glasgow where i saw the likes of Earthquake and Tatanka (i had one of those foam tomahawks!) and since then i have been hooked. I watched WWF on Sky until about 1998 when my family moved house and i lost interest but i was re-introduced to wrestling Royal Rumble 2003 and i have been watching since. Besides from WWE, i occasionally watch TNA when it's not being ridiculous or retarded. My favourite wrestlers include Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Ric Flair, Umaga and more but i can't be bothered typing them all out

I started watching MMA last year and now love the sport with my favourite fighters being Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture and Anderson Silva. I tend to watch mostly UFC but i catch other promotions on TWC.

TV wise i enjoy Futurama (it's coming back~!), 24, South Park, Red Dwarf, any Star Trek series, The Sopranos, CSI Miami and NY, House and i have started to watch Heroes on BBC2.

I'm a gaming nerd, i own a Nintendo Wii and PS2 and will graduate this year from university with a degree in Games Software Development. Also i work with slashlover so i understand/tolerate her insanity on a regular basis. Guen and Lossi know what i mean. tongue.gif
Dr Pepper
I'm Marc AKA Dr Pepper ,
26
Been a fan of Wrestling since the ITV days but truly started getting into the sport during WWFs glory days around '88/'89, although its appeal has been lost to me and I only watch it now and again these days.
I'm a single Dad with one child aged 5.
Not got many hobbies at the moment, although I was very into yoga when the group was running.

No idea what else to write!proberbly loads more, I'll add when it comes to me.

Talking of her where is she? huh.gif
Malin
Ok my user name is my surname and the name all my mates call me Malin.

I've been into Wrestling since watching WrestleMania 7 with matches like Ultimate Warrior vs Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan vs Sgt Slaughter.I really got into it in late 1991 when I got Sky and have watched it ever since.I've been to a number of UK PPV's as well as the Summerslam 92 PPV at Wembley.Last year I was in Orlando and was lucky to watch a joint Raw and Smackdown taping. When I also have time I like to watch TNA where a lot of my favourites have gone like Christian,Christy Hemme and Kurt Angle who I have personally met along with Rey Mysterio,Jimmy Hart and Candice Michelle wub.gif

Other interest include Disney, especially the parks where I have visited all of them except Hong Kong Disneyland.I will be returning to both Paris and Tokyo Disney parks later this year.My greatest highlight regarding the parks had to be in 2005 attending the actual 50th Anniversary on July 17 of Disneyland.Where a huge ceremony took place featuring Californian Govenator Arnold Schwarzenegger. My other interest involving Disney is there movies from the classics like Snow White through to the latest like Pirates of the Carribean and Pixar's Ratatouille.

She just moved house and has no internet. sad.gif She should be back soon though.
slashlover
Glad to know you missed me. Orange internet are evil and have evil Indian call centres who know feck all about what they're talking about. *shakes fist*

I'm Lisa AKA slashlover AKA slashy. I started watching wresting around 1994/1995, mostly due to my almost obsessive love of Shawn Michaels at the time. I currently have no Sky but have good old torrents instead. (The WWE get enoug money off of me as it is for tickets/shirts/DVDs/action figures/cuddly toys). My favourites are Edge, HBK, Londrick, Edge, Punk, Randy, Jimmy Jacobs, Joe, Drew Galloway and Edge.

I work with Fry, he's a lucky guy.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
DigitalDreamer
I'm Ignatia aka DigitalDreamer.

I started watching wrestling back in '93 or maybe even earlier, because of my cousin. I'm from Flushing, a small city in Queens also located in New York City. I've been to one live event so far- back in 2000. My favourite wrestler is Jeff Hardy. However, I don't mind watching Paul London/Brian Kendrick, Shannon Moore, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, and Edge. There are probably others but right now, I can't think of 'em.

I'm an aspiring actress but right now I'm working towards in getting ahead in the world of Advertising.

Besides wrestling, I'm a HUGE fan of baseball.

Animation is my most favourite thing in the world. My friends and I are currently working on a comic book called "The Adventures of Dyno Dyke". Which is about a crime fighting lesbian. *loosely based on myself and a few friends.* When I'm not working on the comic book, I'm usually some psuedo interesting story.

oh yes, I love meeting people!
Cammy
Well, now it's me. happy.gif I know I don`t post that often. That's because I'm afraid my English is too bad. biggrin.gif But I love to read your threads. wink.gif

I started to watch Wrestling in 1998. But I've seen some of the old stuff ('96 - '98) on tape/DVD, especially the old ECW which was btw in my opinion the greatest brand of all time. happy.gif
At the moment I love TNA more than WWE.

Some of my all-time-favourite wrestlers: Raven, Randy Orton, Triple H, Steve Austin, BG & Kip James, James Storm, Alex Shelley, AJ Styles, Edge, John Cena, Brian Danielson, Rob van Dam, Sabu, Sandman, CM Punk, Rhino, Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Hardy, Brian Kendrick, Chris Jericho, Christian Cage, Mick Foley, Chris Kanyon, JBL, Tommy Dreamer, Brother Devon, Ray + Runt, Eric Young, Kurt Angle, Senshi, Homicide...
Criple H
Greetings comrades.

My username is Criple H which I came up with when I joined the board in 2003. I thought it was the most obvious joke in the world but everybody thought it was funny so I stuck with it.

I'm 26 years old, married with one son and I live in the very South of Scotland in Gretna (I can walk to the English border should I so desire). My real name is Cameron George Crichton the 3rd Phillips.

I have been into wrestling since the '92 Royal Rumble when a friend with Sky taped the PPV for me. My Dad decided to get Sky TV in 1993 and I watched it with a passion although I still shudder at the name 'Todd Petengill'. I always though that I'd 'grow out' of wrestling eventually and that came after watching the Iron Man Match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels at WMXII. I still think that the WWE owe me back that 60 minutes of my life. I stopped watching but curiousity bought me back when I checked for the results of the King of the Ring '99 tournament. I got right back into it then, mostly keeping in touch with it via the internet. I do not have Sky so watching any wrestling is difficult.

I mostly keep up with WWE although I'm getting into TNA a bit more these days. I have never seen any ROH in my life.

I like videogames, although unlike some who express an interest in the medium I have regular showers.

I run a football based comedy product at http://www.soccersomeday.co.uk and I also have a strange alter ego in the shape of Julio Mascarpone at http://www.myspace.com/pelewascrap.

If this forum were a body I'd probably be the eyebrows, I must be here for a reason but even biology seems unsure as to why.

Nice to meet you, by the way.

I thought so when I read your introduction, too. happy.gif
I think I know you from the Yahoo Group (WWF Slash Mailing List). You are the one who wrote the RVD/Sabu Drabbles? happy.gif

Yep, that'd be me! I've posted some other things there as well, but that was a while ago. I should begin posting again, now that the drama there has died down. : P
