WWE.com is reporting that Bobby Lashley will undergo surgery on his injured left shoulder next Tuesday in Birmingham, Alabama under Dr. James Andrews. The severity of Lashley’s injury will not be known until the first surgical procedure is completed.
“They are going to do an arthroscopic evaluation of the left shoulder, that requires a small incision for the insertion of the scope,” Dr. Ferdinand Rios told WWE.com. “If it’s just cartilage or something that can be repaired easily, they will do so. If it is a complete rotator cuff [tear], then they’ll probably have to open [Lashley’s] shoulder up and repair it. “
According to Rios, the expected rehabilitation time for arthroscopic surgery is 6-8 weeks; however, if there is more extensive damage to Lashley’s shoulder he could be out for several months.
http://www.pwmania.com/newsarticle.php?page=188002749Bloody hell, just when you thought the injury list couldn't grow any longer. The lack of fit star power is shocking.

But it kinda serves them rght for not building up anybody else to take the places of these top liners that are currently out. The main event bracket is such a small club right now that it really shows when a couple of them are missing. Carlito wasn't even at Wrestlemania this year and yet he's now in the World Championship bracket in less that four months.

You can add Jeff Hardy to the list as well, apparently he has neck/back injuries from this bump last week...
Which sucks, he'd been getting huge pops lately and showing the kind of charisma that WWE need and could build something on.

Ouch hope there alright.
That bump looks horrible.
What the hell was Jeff doing just there!?

Did he slip or was Kennedy supposed to catch him or something? Eeek, looked PAIN!
Anyway, if Lashley has a torn rotator cuff thingy, then he might end up like Kip after he had that. Messing up the shoulder at least once a year O_o But Kip's was pretty severe, so maybe Lashley's lucky.

Not sure either, but it makes me wince. *Ow*
Last I read they're not sure how severe it is, they're going to do laproscopic (sp?) surgery, with a keyhole camera. If it's not too bad, like just the tendon, they can fix it then and rehab will be 6 to 8 weeks. If it's a full tear then he'll need open surgery - which could mean he'd be out until January.

Ugh, that's how necks get broken. Jeff's lucky that didn't happen, because landing like that
will break your neck at times. I've seen both Sabu and Taz land pretty similarly, and they definitely broke something.
Hope he's alright, the WWE needs him right now.

That video certainly looks like a loss in comunication between Kennedy and Hardy.I assume Kennedy was supposed to catch him but looks like he messed up big time.Hardy is very lucky it wasn't more serious

Looks like Kennedy was supposed to catch him, possibly for a side suplex?

Hmm, according to fans at a Wheeling, WV house show, Santino Marella may also be injured. They reported that after taking Umaga spinning sideslam he seemed to have hurt his shoulder or collar bone. The referee threw up the X-sign and the wrestlers immediately went to the finish. Afterwards fans said he was seen favouring his shoulder and/or collarbone.
Injuries all around. *shakes head*

Another one? Geez.
Though the word going around the newsboards from 'sources inside WWE' is that Jeff is actually suspended for 30 days. JR had this to say on his latest blog -
QUOTE
"It saddens and greatly disappoints me that Jeff Hardy will be absent from the WWE for the next month or so. Nonetheless, I am happy that Jeff isn’t suffering from a serious injury as has plagued so many wrestlers recently. The WWE could have certainly utilized Jeff’s services during these challenging times and no one can dispute the fact that Jeff’s individual popularity wasn’t building toward an all time high if it wasn’t already there. Everyone is human and as the old saying goes “to err is human” but the timing of these unfortunate circumstances are extremely untimely. The “good news” if one chooses to look for some positive in this situation is that Jeff will be back in time, as I understand it, and he will have an opportunity to still make a big impact in the WWE and then move continuously in a positive direction in his career and finally live his dream of becoming the superstar he was meant to be."

"The timing..is untimely"
That's really bad wording...quite frankly.
What was Jeff suspended for? Same reasons as in TNA? *lol*

Allegedly, "maturity issues". Which could be anything, really. Maybe he farted in front of Steph.

This has to be the funniest suspension ever if true. Because WWE are the pioneers of maturity right?

He gave birth to a hand?

I'm guessing Jeff messed with some shampoo bottles and now the entire McMahon family is walking around with green, red and/or purple hair. We know how much Jeff loves his colours.

Honestly, though, a suspencion for maturity? The entire roster would be out, if they'd enforce that reguarly.

That mannequin consented. In humping something empty and emotionless HHH was mearly getting into practise for marrying Steph.

Yes, she spent the last year locking Hunter in the basement telling him Undertaker did it all.
