Raw on Monday night did a 2.5 rating (not a typo) with a 1.83 in males 18-49, a 1.99 in males 18-34, and 3.4 million viewers. Lowest Raw ratings since moving to USA, and the demo levels were 1/2 point lower than the previous lowest. Expect complete insanity.
I thought it was a pretty good Raw myself (and it has been for a few weeks), but still, a disaster of a rating. Could be some unfair blame heading the way of a few superstars.
So...Triple H = the saviour of Raw?

See....they should have got Stacy back.
It wouldn't surprise me if there were some frantic negotiations and begging towards Chris Jericho right about now.

I would be likewise unsurprised. This is the lowest non-holiday rating since '97 apparently, and a biiiig drop on last week.
And, if Trips is coming back with the Conan the Barbarian gimmick as is rumored, then... no.
Wow, that one was low O_o Maybe they need to revamp some of the crap gimmicks and some NEW storylines and not new-already-been-used-before storylines.
Sure it's the wrestlers and not the stories than scares the viewers away? Maybe it was after Khali got the title?

No one wanna see him with the belt

Unfortunately he's only on SD, not Raw, otherwise I'd say you were right.
Oh, really? Poor SmackDown... *pets it*

Yeah, poor SD, they lose Londrick and gain... that. Actually he probably weighs more than they do.
*tsk tsk* anyone saw Khali in The Longest Yard? He sucked even there O_o

No, no, it's because people are worried that he - with all the brand-jumping he's done lately -
might show up on Raw eventually, so they're just making sure. See, 'let's blame everything on The Great Khali' works! It's a step down from 'blame everything on Triple H', but it works. XD
XXD
Well, let's blame HHH then! I don't like him anymore

Not after hearing how he really is. Powerhungry. At least that's what I've heard

I've not seen Raw in weeks as the show has gotten rather stale lately. Its scheduled tonight at 10.00 pm so may watch it,as AJ says it was a rather good show.I expect the 2.5 rating will send a sign to execs in WWE and the USA Network that a shake up is needed.I have actually heard a rumour that USA is pushing WWE to return back to the Attitude era. Also interesting to note is that the ratings are aparently also down in the UK.And that WWE's stock price is the lowest its been this year.
As to whats to blame for the slump I personally think its a mixture of various things.
If the WWE went back to Attitude era-ish programing I might give it a chance and watch some... except if it means HHH is gonna be there constantly... >_<

I admit it's not a must-watch for me like it used to be. We've even just got rid of the sky sports channels, because I am poor

and it wasn't worth the money keeping them just for that, and the ooh, three or so Charlton matches they'll show in the course of a season. /grumble
I've been boycotting WWE for a full 3 years, but I haven't really missed anything have I?

That's the sad part. In 2000 I remember I turned down going to parties in school etc. 'cause I HAD to watch WWE XXD Sad it's not like that anymore. I even used to watch it on German, French and Finninsh channels 'cause I NEEDED to see it.
Good ol' times.

I think you may of wasted part of your life on WWE,which will never get back. But boy was it fun back in those days
Yeah, I know, but I don't think I missed anything at those parties. Didn't have any friends there anyway O_o they probably just wanted me there for comedy reasons

Besides, I was in trance in front of the TV everytime Roadie popped up XXD When he once in a while showed his goofy grin when pacing behind HHH in interviews *LOL* I can't imagine teenparties being better than watching Roadie be a goof XXD
The word now is the low rating may be down to a glitch in the Nielsen Media Research equipment.

Cena's fault, you know it AJ

Talking if Cena, does anybody else have to keep reminding themselves that he's still champion? It's like a bizzare constant of life.
The sky is blue.
The Pope is Catholic.
Cena is still champion.

I think you're right.
Apparently, they want him to drop it at SummerSlam to Orton, then build to Orton v Trips for next years WM.
And by 'they', I mean Trips.

They is always necessary for Trips. Him and his giant ego. Oops, did I just say that out load?
Really, Steph is rather happy to support that goal too. : P

This week's Raw rebounded with a 3.8 which makes you wonder if last weeks fault was intentional to make Vince look good this week.

Nah, Vinnie Mac equals ratings.
Although I have to say I laughed my head off at The Dating Game segment. Hacksaw's 2x4 having a little collar and tie on was funny as hell and Ron Simmons is a comedy genius.
